wore this short sleeved cardigan today and came the the huge revelation that its exhibiting the shredding that camille made the coolest thing in the blogosphere recently I know I've tried it, don't lie so have you*. i bought this from a fabric store near my house which is the main source of the countless buttons which adorn hair slides and rings alike in my household. they hold sewing classes there which I've been meaning to look into for THE longest time, and they occasionally have a random rack of clothing, upon which I found this cardi. Ok so that was waaaaay more than you ever needed to know about the procurement of an item of clothing. deal with it.one of my best friends has the most ridiculously dramatic life ever it boggles my mind, her boyfriend on 3 years cheats on her, BAM her grandpa dies BAM the ex hooks up with one of her oldest friends. and this is AFTER about 18 months of just constant drama, mostly to do with said ex boyfriend. it's totally insane and totally unfair and she TOTALLY needs to get a thicker skin. sometimes it can be really hard to do the right thing and be the friend you ought to be when really you just want to go to bed/read a book/blog/do anything but have ANOTHER hour long phone conversation about Whatshisname. im not a bad person i swear but really, what else is there to say?

* don't know about you but i found it oddly therapeutic. i did it to some crap tops and came to the realisation that i like it when its done super neatly and im not patient enough/willing to loose a top to do it. oh well. now, i have this cardi!
