went to the ballet with the female members of the family, 5 of us, it was nice, and one freeze in particular looked like the most perfect painting that degas himself would've been proud. the nutcracker: the story of clara was so beautiful i loved every minute. I wore this great coat i picked up at the end of last winter for next to nothing, ace colour. and the shoes were my 'im halfway through exams fuck yes' present to myself. speaking of exams, last one this arvo, must fly. real and concrete chance of me failing it, i have an acute thoracic-lumber back strain [!] which, along with sub standard preparation ISN'T HELPING. BYE NOW.

so i'm back on the silver bandwagon as you may have noticed, and am enjoying cultivating my collection. i still wear gold sometimes but at the moment if i have a choice i got for silver.

this is making my bangle collection, which at some point got surprisingly large and colourful, a little superfluous. but i still wear them sometimes, it was the purchase of a watch that actually caused that.
i hate wearing bangles on my right hand if im going to be writing ie. to work or uni ie. half my life.

anyway, an insanely and unnecessarily large piece of what i like to call finger armour would make me exceedingly happy right now...like this perhaps...

pretty park. for some bizarre reason, melbourne decided to have autumn in may. even though its been cooler weather for a while, only now are the streets lined with golden leaves and the trees around my local gazebo are lellow. :). i took these when i bailed from uni early on thursday, i realised that i never have anytime at home on weekday arvos which means im rarely home alone. i like being home alone. sad face.

i picked up these MAD BOOTS off lay-by today. i am SUPER EXCITED about them. photos are IMINENT. im not sure why i keep using CAPITAL LETTERS. oh thats right for EMPHASIS and a feeling of SUPERIORITY.

My mum said natch to me today, during an msn convo from one end of our shop to other (hello laziness, here to stay? rightio then). I'm quite happy with where my styles headed at the moment, im making my wardrobe work more with how i want to dress, its going along quite well. cue extremely long run-on sentence during which even I got lost: I've not bought much new stuff recently, like 2 things since i got home in early march, so its a little repetitive, especially given its been really freaking cold this week, jackets and jeans a go-go, need some more winter basics once i pay my [EXORBITANTLY OVER-PRICED] car registration which is due mid may. :(. im really busy at the moment so taking pics of outfits isn't a priority, but im always trying to get better. toodle pip!
