so a few days ago, I finished exams. It was awesome. It also explains the serious lack of posting recently, I haven't exactly been lounging around at home this whole time. It's been heaps of fun actually. Here's an outfit from the other day, just some work you know, the usual. I'm really bad at taking photos of my outfits when I go out at night so day time will have to be it.

I WANT THIS TOP.
So excited, for those who don't know Minkpink is a street wear brand that does cute dresses, tees, tanks and skirts [among other things] at AMAZING prices. It makes me happy. Theres a shop near my house that sells all sorts of brands like Wish, Manning Cartel, Shakuhachi, Aje and all sorts of expensive stuff, Nobody Jeans, PeepToe shoes and so on. And they sell Minkpink. Anything by Minkpink is WAY cheaper that everything else in the store and its pretty much what keeps me going back. So, to see what I'm raving about have a look at About a Girl or EVEN the Minkpink Blog! Mad.

I walked in the door with my friend B at roughly 6:45. Am. We and D had been at R [or K I can't decide. Perhaps K] yep K'a place, and we started watching a movie way later than advisable and then it finished and it was light. What the eff. Confusing in the extreme. Cause I hadn't been out or drinking and the lightness was really sudden. Hard to describe. Anyway. I came home said 'Hi' to my dad who was EATING BREAKFAST and B was staying at mine [lucky her parents would've died] and I went to bed. In full daylight. Got up at 10:30 to go to work. Now THAT, was fun. :|

But you know what, it actually was. *happy sigh*.

New tee [miss shop] & hadn't worn this blazer in a while, partly due to warm weather, partly due to rotation of things I'm obsessed with in my wardrobe. So I went and wore it 2 days in a row. Figures. I actually didn't wear it for most of the day above cause it was sunny as and yeah. Last exam [FKN. A.] and then shopping. Bought a scarf see: below.

So I'm fully aware my posing/setting SUCK, more aware than you probably. I'm also surprisingly tough on the photos I post, if I ever take less than 5 its cause im literally running out of time or in a randomly good mood. Usually end up wishing I'd taken more when I look at them though. It actually happens way more often if I'm not wearing jeans. Note: the jeans uniform probs needs work... New scarf from Dangerfield. Went out last night had fun, wore a skirt I hadn't worn before finally, total time crunch=no piccies. Next time. I'm only just getting the feeling back in my little toes fyi. Have you heard about that surgery people are getting to amputate their little toes so they can wear pointier/higher heels/shoes?!!?!? Tad extreme. Models will be forced to have it done in like...20 years time or something. Calling it early. *shudder*.

This will probably continue changing forever cause I consume music at a horrendous rate, but only cause I love it so much. At first it was just songs but then some artists had multiple songs so I just put the artist. If you haven't heard of them, they're all great, I have super random music taste though, totally all over the shop so you probably won't like it all. whattaweek... of nerdiness

Or so... last week was swot vac and I had exams on tuesday & wednesday for the two subjects I find most difficult. Joy. Though on monday I have the exam for the subject which I basically stopped attending lectures for. Even though it's my major. Oh joy. Today was meant to be an epic day of study but the true
s.sp8 [...thats me] returned and it failed miserably. The interesting thing is, last week I did some of the best, most consistant and SUCCESSFUL [not to mention necessary] study of my ENTIRE LIFE. No I am NOT exaggerating. For once. It was pretty amazing. Pretty sure if I'd studied like that last year I would've knocked VCE out of the park, not that I did badly.

Anyway, I did focus on one subject in particular and perhaps because I was the closest to failing I've ever been I guess for once I couldn't justify not doing it 'cause I'll do ok/passno matter what'. Last semester I got 52, this semester was harder. Eep. I think it went ok. Fingers crossed yall!!!

Who knew when I took this pic on Friday [purple nails!] that it would be so relevant to my current mindset. It's 12:02am on november the 10th, my exams commence tomorrow. I've been studying chemistry like it was going out of style to what seems to be basically no effect. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Especially given that tomorrows exam is BIOLOGY. Far. Out. Monday which is today has been set aside for that and its not the only study I've done but...who am I kidding not only is bio EASIER than chem its also so BORING I may blow my head off!!! Screw exploding! Chem is on Wednesday and I am infinitely more likely to fail it than Bio, hence the uneven studying patterns. Note: why am I writing this? STUDY, IDIOT!

Back to the purple nails. Note to self: playing frisbee=fingernail annihilation. No kidding, and my nails are short as. Thats clearly the only thing wrong with playing frisbee in the middle of the night. Don't worry, we had floodlights. :)

Right, this was what I wore on friday to work. This little white thing is something I never wear, partly cause it doesn't reeeally go with a lot of my wardrobe, but my wardrobe does have split personality disorder or something. Woo sidetracked. So yeah, I considered selling this on ebay but my sister convinced me not too, thus I based this Entire Outfit around it, no kidding. I then proceeded to LEAVE IT BEHIND. I didn't realise till I saw myself in the mirror at work. Bloody Hell. Just one of those things were you get irrationally and unnecessarily annoyed at yourself and feel uncomfortable and out of sorts for the rest of the day. Generally a touch fragile at the moment anyway so that probs didn't help. SO yeah this is the more elegant/feminine/'pretty' side of my wardrobe. My favourite thing about this outfit has got to be the bangle stack. Count 'em, theres 12. :)

It's bananas. The Rachel Zoe Project just premiered here and, I die. Another reality tv show to add to the roster AND the vocabulary, love it. Watching this stuff is just so inspiring even though my style is basically nothing like hers. Taylor on the OTHER HAND. Bah. Though I totally want Rachel's tiger head ring its fierce. Literally. Ha.

...outfit me...
So I'm wearing this sheer lace overtop thing that I've never worn in the day time before. Fun. It was quite hot this day but chilly when I left the house OF COURSE [bloody melbourne. love you] hence the cardigan. Never worn this cardi buttoned up before either. I freaking love this cardi too. Bah.

Oh and these shoes are so not great but I need summer shoes BAD. I have 1 pair of flats. 1. A couple of sandles and a few lace up numbers. But 1 pair of flats. Die.



Theses are the 1 pair of flats I mentioned above haha.

These leggings are wet look and ruched and you cannot see it AT ALL in these pics but they're amazingly comfortable and just amazingly amazing in general. So excited. Oh and the purple nails, almost the exact same colour as that dress. Exactly.
